Rhythm games are genres where standing out with the right look matters as much as timing. Funky Friday on Roblox is one of the best examples of this approach. In the game, the microphones and points you have affect your stage performance just as much as dancing well. That's why codes released from time to time offer valuable opportunities for both beginners and experienced players.
As of October 2026, Funky Friday has only one active code, and the older codes that gave points and microphones have expired. In this guide, you'll find the working code, how to redeem it, and why old codes no longer work. Let's get started.
Why Are Funky Friday Codes So Important?
Funky Friday is a rhythm and duel game. Two players face each other, and whoever hits the correct notes wins. But the competition doesn't end with just the score; visual elements also show off a player's style. Special microphones let you make a difference with your character. Most of these microphones can be purchased from the store, but they can also be earned for free with codes.
One of the things players find most interesting is accumulating points. Thanks to the points that come with codes, you don't have to wait long to buy the item you want. This way, you save time and progress faster in the game. That's why following codes seriously makes your Funky Friday experience easier.
Funky Friday Active Codes for October 2026
The code below was verified on October 1, 2026, and it is currently the only working code in the game. Codes are case-sensitive, so copying and pasting it is the safest way to redeem it.
- 5yearsfunky – free rewards
The rest of the codes on our previous list, such as WHEREUPDATE??, 1BILCHEESE, 100M and 19DOLLAR, no longer work: up-to-date code trackers confirmed at the end of September that 5yearsfunky is the only active code. None of the sources names its exact reward, so you'll see what you get when you redeem it.
What Happened to the Point and Microphone Codes?
The codes that used to give points and microphones have all expired, including WHEREUPDATE?? (500 points), SPOOKYMIC (Spooky Time microphone), funkymillion (Lyte Lantern microphone), 1yearscoop (One Year Scoop microphone), 1yearfunky (1,000 points) and 2v2!! (Sakuroma microphone). Some lists online still show them as active, but entering them in the game only returns an error. New codes tend to arrive with updates and milestones, so it's worth checking back.
How to Redeem Funky Friday Codes?
To use a code, first open the Roblox app and enter the Funky Friday game. On the game's main screen, click the blue Twitter (bird) logo at the top. Then type or paste the code into the text box that appears. Finally, press the Redeem button and the reward will be added to your account instantly.
When doing this, copying and pasting the codes is a good way to avoid typos. Because the codes are case-sensitive. Also, each code can only be used once; trying a code again on the same account won't work.
Why Don't Codes Work?
Sometimes a code that appears active may give an error when tried. There could be several reasons. The first thing that comes to mind is that the code has expired. Developers release codes for specific events; when the event is over, the code is also disabled.
Another reason is the usage limit. Each code can only be used once per account. If you've already used it, you can't try the same code again. In addition, codes may vary by region. You might encounter different results on European and Asian servers.
Internet connection issues can also cause the reward not to appear. Restarting the game or checking your internet often fixes this. Additionally, updates on Roblox's side can affect the validity of codes.
Expired Codes and Next Steps
Not every code stays active forever. For example, XMAS2021 gave a Christmas-themed Candy Cane animation but no longer works, and TAMBRUSHISBACK has expired as well. Trying such codes is a waste of time; when the developer releases new codes, we will add them to the list above.
To stay up to date in Funky Friday, it's useful to check code lists frequently. New rewards and hidden microphones can be added to the game at any time. By bookmarking this page, you can be among the first players to learn about each new code announcement.
If you want to show off your style while enjoying the rhythm, don't forget to redeem 5yearsfunky as soon as possible. The stage is yours now; hit the right notes, collect your rewards, and get ready for the next duel.
