Gift codes are one of the most practical ways to speed up your progress in mobile games. However, every day the internet is filled with stale or fake lists under the name of "new codes." Cookie Run Kingdom is no exception: many codes shared on social media may have already expired or never been based on a real campaign. In this guide, I'll explain the code situation for October 2026, how codes are redeemed and where new ones are announced.
Current Status in October 2026: No Active Code
There is currently no active gift code in Cookie Run Kingdom. The last one, MISSEARTHBREAD26, was valid until September 13, 2026 (11:59 PM PT) and has since expired, and up-to-date code trackers confirmed at the end of September that no new code has been released. The frequency of code releases depends on the game's event calendar: several codes may appear in some months, while in other periods there are none at all. New codes usually arrive with anniversaries, major updates and live streams, so it's worth checking back.
What Did MISSEARTHBREAD26 Give?
MISSEARTHBREAD26 was released for the Miss Earthbread 2026 event and could be redeemed once per account. It granted the following rewards:
- 1,500 Crystals
- 500 Rainbow Cubes
- 500 Choco Chalks
Codes like this are usually tied to a specific event, so the next one is most likely to arrive with a new event or update.
Where Should You Use the Resources?
The resources the code provides are essentially raw materials. Crystals are the most valuable currency for boxes opened in new cookie events, while Rainbow Cubes are used in costume pulls. Cookie cutters offer direct gacha chances, while Beascuit Dough and Amber Oil are needed for the enhancement system. So after using the code, you should determine your priorities. If you're aiming for a new cookie, investing the resource into that box, or if you want to expand your costume collection, saving Rainbow Cubes might make more sense.
You Redeem the Code on the DevPlay Page, Not In-Game
You can't use Cookie Run Kingdom codes by typing them into a box in the game. Code redemption is done through the coupon page at devplay.com, the address of the company that developed the game. That's why many players can't find where to use the code on their first try. The process is actually quite simple:
- Enter the game and go to the Settings section from the menu at the top right.
- Copy the email address shown in the Info tab. This address is your DevPlay ID.
- Open the official DevPlay coupon page in your browser.
- Enter your DevPlay ID in the first box and the code in the second box.
- Click the Claim Reward button and restart the game.
The rewards arrive in your in-game mailbox. They usually appear within a few minutes; if they don't, closing the game completely and reopening it will solve the problem.
Possible Reasons If the Code Isn't Working
A code giving an error doesn't always mean it has expired. The most common error is confusing the player name with the DevPlay ID. When entering the code, you should use the DevPlay ID in email format, not the name in Settings. Another reason is typos. Since codes are case-sensitive, copying and pasting instead of typing manually is the safest option. Also, each code can only be used once; it won't work if you try it a second time on the same account. Finally, the code may have really expired. Developer teams usually deactivate the code quickly once the event ends.
Past and Present: Expired Codes
To avoid getting stuck on old codes, it's useful to know a few examples. 2MSUBSCRIBERSCRK was distributed to celebrate the official YouTube channel reaching 2 million subscribers; TODEARESTFROMIHWAN stood out as a farewell gift from the former project director. DEVNOW2026THANKU offered a Crystal pack exclusive to the developer event, while HAPPYSONGKRANCRK was added during the festival period. All of these codes are now inactive. The list shows that codes are usually tied to periodic celebrations and don't remain valid for long.
What Could Happen Next?
Whether a new code will be released during October depends on official announcements. Following the game's social media accounts and developer blogs is the best approach. Such codes usually come with anniversaries, major updates, and live stream events. If a new code is shared, checking the updated list of resources and using the code on the same day provides an advantage. Since codes have a short lifespan, saying 'I'll use it later' can be risky. Some code lists on the internet don't update date information; so a code appearing active doesn't always mean it's correct. For up-to-date information, it's healthiest to refer to the game's official accounts.
In short, as of October 2026 there is no active code in Cookie Run Kingdom: MISSEARTHBREAD26 expired in mid-September. When a new code arrives, redeem it on the DevPlay coupon page the same day, use copy-paste to avoid typos, and collect the rewards from your in-game mailbox.
