Is Black Ops 7 worth preloading, or should I wait for the first patch?

Every Call of Duty launch I tell myself I will wait a week, and every time I end up preloading anyway.

For those who have been through a few Warzone season launches: is day one usually stable enough to enjoy, or do you hold off until the first patch lands? I am mostly worried about losing a weekend to matchmaking problems rather than bugs in the campaign.
